Whether you're leading a team, building something meaningful, investing in others or preparing for your next season of influence, the Summit can be a catalyst to help you move from intention to action, no matter the space you are in.

FELLOWSHIP & SERVING OPPORTUNITY: GARDENS AT GBCC

Join us on Saturday, June 27 at 12pm for a day of fellowship, service, and community as we beautify the gardens at GBCC. Whether you're an experienced gardener or simply willing to lend a hand, everyone is welcome! Come and go as you're able beginning at noon, and enjoy a variety of outdoor projects including planting, weeding, pruning, and helping with the grill. Throughout the day, we'll share a potluck cookout (bring a dish to pass), enjoy lawn games and relaxed fellowship, and finish the evening with a bonfire. Please bring lawn chairs, your family and friends, and a willingness to serve. To help us plan, RSVP by June 20 to Alicia Hesacker at 920-246-3721 or Chefcollins2@yahoo.com. We hope you'll join us for this meaningful opportunity to serve together and build community!

DON’T MISS FMSC REGISTRATION THIS SUMMER!

Our 14th year of partnering together to bring the Feed My Starving Children Green Bay MobilePack is underway — and this year’s goal is our biggest yet: over 800,000 meals packed, the largest goal in our region! This incredible effort happens because of a generous community and collaboration between 10 local churches working together behind the scenes to make the MobilePack possible. We may even top 4,000 volunteers this year, including many local students and school groups! The FMSC newsletter is the best way to stay up to date on volunteer registration, fundraising events, and opportunities happening across all participating churches. And don’t wait too long — Wednesday night packing sessions and many other popular times often fill within hours of registration opening. Stay connected and sign up here.

NEW WALKING GROUP: MAKE FRIENDS AND TRAIN FOR FMSC 5K

Everyone is welcome—walk at your own pace and bring a friend! Join us for walking, fellowship, and faith as we grow closer to one another and to God. Sundays at 2:30 PM, starting June 14th— meet at Green Bay Community Church, Entrance A. We’ll start by sharing a “win for the week” and have a prayer jar available to leave a request or take one to pray for along the way. No sign-up, no pressure—just show up. Walk as long or as short as you'd like. Come once or come weekly—we’re glad you’re here.

neighborhood gathering july 5

On 4th of July weekend, we are doing another Neighborhood Gathering! Instead of gathering under one roof, we’re asking our GBCC church family to be the church in their neighborhoods — hosting or attending a Neighborhood Gathering right where they live. We will provide a teaching video to anchor your time together, but the real win is the conversations, connections, and relationships that happen with the people next door. We will also have conversation questions for after the message.

Learn more about neighborhood gatherings here. When you gather, snap a picture and share with us! You can tag us on Facebook or Instagram or send a picture to social@gbcc.me - we’d love to see how you gather!

CONNECT TO COMMUNITY

Join us for Connect to Community, on the first Sunday of each month. This gathering is free to attend and a great first step in getting to know GBCC. Join us from 10am–11am. Come a little early and enjoy breakfast! You’ll meet some of our pastors, elders, and staff, get a simple overview of who we are as a church, and learn how you can get involved. We’ll also answer any questions you may have. Our hope is that you’ll meet new friends, catch a clear picture of our beliefs, and discover real ways to connect.

Next Connect to Community is Sunday, June 7 in the Offices — Sign up here.

WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT

We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing generosity and support! Did you know that only 5-10% of active churchgoers in the U.S. regularly tithe? At GBCC, we see giving not just as a responsibility but as a joyful opportunity to demonstrate our love and obedience to God. We truly believe we don’t give to receive; we GET to give! In Acts 2, we see a powerful example of community generosity: “All the believers met together… and shared everything they had… praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people.” This is the spirit we strive to cultivate within our church. As we work together to fulfill our mission, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand. For the week of May 28th

  • Total giving was $40,136

In the coming months, we are praying that God will raise up new regular givers to join us in supporting the important work of the Kingdom here in Green Bay. John Wesley described money as “an excellent gift of God, answering the noblest ends.” Would you join us in praying for hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church. Your contributions truly make a difference in advancing our mission and serving our community!
